Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Now looking to hire a Special Education Teacher for a current, full-time opening in Broomall, PA. This itinerant position will support students with special education needs across community preschool settings throughout the area. Responsibilities:
Provide itinerant special education services to students in community preschool programs throughout the area. Support approximately 30 students with individualized learning needs. Develop and implement instruction aligned with student IEP goals and developmental objectives. Collaborate with preschool staff, families, and related service providers to support student success. Provide specialized instruction and interventions based on student needs. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required educational planning and progress monitoring.
Experience:
Previous experience working with preschool-aged students and/or in a special education setting is preferred. Experience providing itinerant services is a plus. Guidance and training will be provided to support success in the role.
Education:
Pennsylvania PK-4 Certification and/or Pennsylvania Special Education Certification required. Emergency permits will not be accepted for this position.
Employment Type:
Full-time, Contract Work Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, approximately 35 hours per week
