Early Childhood Teacher / Early Intervention Special Instructor Are you looking for a flexible opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and families? Happy Hearts LLC is looking for a caring and dedicated Special Instructor to provide Early Intervention services to children ages birth to 3. You choose the number of clients you would like to serve, your preferred travel area, and the schedule that works best for you. Caseloads are based on your availability and preferences. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Special Education Minimum of 1 year of experience working with preschool aged children ages birth to 5 with disabilities. What We Are Looking For A professional who demonstrates: Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility, patience, and compassion Attention to detail Ability to work independently Understanding of child development and early learning Professional and positive interactions with children, families, and team members Job Responsibilities Special Instructors at Happy Hearts provide individualized Early Intervention support to help young children develop skills in areas such as play, behavior, communication, cognition, social interaction, and motor development.
Responsibilities include:
Provide developmental support and intervention strategies tailored to each child's needs Coach and support parents and caregivers within the child's natural environment Encourage family involvement to promote progress and skill development Document sessions, including progress, strategies used, and recommendations for carryover at home Complete quarterly progress reports and updates to the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Participate in IFSP meetings and collaborate with other members of the child's team Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with Early Intervention guidelines Perform other duties as needed About Happy Hearts LLC Happy Hearts LLC is an Early Intervention agency dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered services to young children and their families. Our team of professionals works together to support children during the critical birth to 3 developmental period. We provide services throughout Schuylkill, Berks, and Lebanon Counties in Pennsylvania.
