Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students in classroom environments in the greater West Chester, PA area! Dynamic paraprofessionals, behavioral technicians (BTs), and registered behavior technicians (RBTs) are needed to provide essential support during the school year, working closely under the supervision of special education teachers and school administrators. This contract opportunity starts ASAP and extends through June 13, 2025, with two positions available—including involvement in bus riding to offer seamless support throughout the day.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children or students in educational, daycare, or similar settings.

For BTs:

Completion of 40-hour RBT training required.

RBTs:

Active RBT Certification required. One of the two openings requires a male BT or RBT due to assignment needs. Reliable and ready for consistent, full-time hours: 8:45 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Adaptable, positive attitude for working with diverse student populations and collaborating in a school setting.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting students with academic tasks, personal care, and behavioral support throughout the school day. Supporting safe transitions—including riding the bus with students at arrival and dismissal. Collaborating daily with special education teachers and school principals to implement individualized educational and behavioral plans. Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation as directed by instructional staff. Fostering a supportive, engaging classroom community focused on student growth.
