Full-Time Why This Role Exists Keystone Christian Academy is a mission-driven, private Christian school serving students in and around York City. Our mission is to provide students with a tailored education in a family-like setting that equips them to develop their gifts and serve Christ with head, hands, and heart. Our vision is that all students would have access to a quality education and the opportunity to hear the Gospel message, regardless of ability to pay. For many, tuition is funded by generous donors providing scholarships, making it our responsibility to ensure that opportunity turns into real growth for the students entrusted to us. This role exists to create engaging, structured experiences outside of core academics by helping students to develop creativity, life skills, physical discipline, and confidence. We are looking for someone who can bring energy, structure, and consistency across multiple grade levels, not just run activities. What You'll Do You will be responsible for leading enrichment classes across multiple grade levels (K-12), including, but not limited to: Art Music Home Economics (life skills, basic cooking, practical skills) Physical Education In addition, you will: Create and implement structured, engaging lesson plans Manage classroom behavior across different age groups Build a consistent and positive classroom culture Assess student participation and progress Communicate regularly with parents and staff Adjust instruction and activities based on student needs Reinforce effort, participation, and accountability in all settings What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) You can confidently lead classes across multiple grade levels Students are engaged, active, and responsive to your expectations Transitions between classes are smooth and controlled Your classes are structured—not chaotic or unorganized You've built strong relationships with students across the school You are improving quickly through feedback and coaching What You'll Gain Experience managing diverse groups of students (K-12) Skills in classroom management across different age levels Hands-on experience in multiple subject areas Mentorship and coaching from experienced staff A strong foundation for careers in education, coaching, or youth development The opportunity to to make a meaningful impact in students' lives What We're Looking For Strong communication and presence Ability to lead and manage groups confidently Willingness to be coached and improve Consistency and follow-through Energy and engagement (this role requires it) Alignment with the mission and values of the school
