Conduct assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student growth in literacy, math, and other core subjects. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEPs, behavioral interventions, and classroom activities in compliance with special education law. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or elementary school settings, especially those with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Strong knowledge of childhood development stages, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques for students with special needs. Expertise in curriculum development that integrates literacy education, math instruction, communication skills, and behavioral health practices. Proficiency in educational technology tools to enhance lesson planning and instruction delivery. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher collaboration and teamwork with other professionals supporting student success. Ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual student needs and IEP requirements while ensuring compliance with special education laws. Experience mentoring or supervising teaching assistants or junior staff members within a classroom setting.
