Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM About the Position I am are looking for an engaging, energetic, and values-driven homeschool teacher to work one-on-one with my 5th grade son as part of his hybrid homeschool education. My son is going to attend a hybrid Christian homeschool program on Mondays and Wednesdays, where his curriculum and assignments are provided. The teacher's primary role is to guide him through his curriculum on Tuesdays and Thursdays while creating a fun, active, and inspiring learning environment. Fridays are designed to be more flexible, allowing time to complete unfinished work, explore creative projects, enjoy educational outings, and build meaningful life experiences. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with elementary-aged boys and believes learning should be active, engaging, and joyful. Responsibilities- Guide our son through his assigned curriculum from his hybrid homeschool program.
- Keep him on pace with weekly assignments while encouraging independence and a love of learning.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment.
- Incorporate movement breaks throughout the day.
- Design and lead a daily PE/gym session that promotes fitness, teamwork, and confidence.
- Plan hands-on learning activities, games, STEM challenges, art projects, and creative experiences.
- Use Fridays for enrichment, educational field trips, outdoor adventures, service opportunities, creative projects, or completing unfinished assignments.
- Communicate weekly with parents regarding progress, accomplishments, and any challenges. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is:

- Energetic, active, and enjoys sports, fitness, and outdoor activities.
- Creative and able to make learning fun and engaging.
- Comfortable teaching elementary-level math, reading, writing, science, and social studies.
- Patient, encouraging, and skilled at connecting with boys.
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Able to balance academic expectations with play, exploration, and creativity. A recent education graduate, current teacher, aspiring teacher, or experienced homeschool educator would all be great fits. Bonus Qualifications
- Elementary education background
- Experience with homeschooling or hybrid learning
- Coaching or youth sports experience
