Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Learning Coach to inspire and support students in achieving their academic goals. In this role, you will serve as a dedicated mentor, guiding students through personalized learning experiences that foster growth, confidence, and success. We are recruiting for a Learning Coach to support our Special Education department for the 26-27 school year. Staff members are required to work on-site at our Sewickley office a minimum of three days a week, in addition to in-house attendance and participation in professional development trainings. All staff members must also be able to travel within the state to proctor standardized testing and attend other school events. The Learning Coach plays a key role in supporting student success by helping students maximize their online learning experience. This position collaborates closely with teachers to provide individualized academic support, clarify instruction, and reteach essential concepts. The Learning Coach promotes student engagement, independence, and progress toward academic goals. Essential Functions
  • Provides consistent academic support, guidance, and motivation
  • Keeps students on track with coursework and attendance; redirects focus as needed
  • Supports progress toward individualized learning goals
  • Builds and reinforces time management and organizational skills
  • Monitors student understanding and adjusts support accordingly
  • Reteaches key skills and concepts as needed
  • Guides students through lessons and instructional content
  • Assists with the use of interactive classroom tools and platforms
  • Ensures completion of all course components with fidelity (e.g., readings, assignments, practice activities)
  • Maintains regular communication with general and special education teachers
  • Provides monthly session summaries and contributes to IEP development

$45,000.00 - $46,500.00 per year
