JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Altoona invites applications for a part-time instructor position with expertise in Special Education. Candidates for the position must hold a minimum of a master's degree. Experience in PreK-12 classrooms is preferred. Classes will be offered in-person.
Teaching opportunities include:
Special education law
Assessment in inclusive settings
Applied behavior Analysis
Evidence-based methods for instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing Additional opportunities could include courses in trauma-based pedagogy and autism, as well as other content that fit within the needs of the Elementary and Early Childhood Education program.
