Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available in Milwaukee, WI for a specialized educator skilled in teaching students with visual impairments via telehealth platforms. This role focuses on delivering remote instructional services tailored to the unique learning requirements of visually impaired students within a school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with visual impairments Delivering specialized instruction and support using telehealth technologies Collaborating with school staff to adapt curriculum and materials to meet accessibility standards Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly Providing training and resources to families and caregivers to support remote learning Qualifications and desired experience: Certification or licensure in visual impairment or related special education field Demonstrated experience teaching students with visual impairments Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual instructional methods Strong communication skills for remote engagement with students, parents, and educators Ability to manage time effectively in a virtual environment Working as a visually impaired teacher in a telehealth role allows for flexibility in location while delivering vital educational services to students.
