Job Description
Deliver individualized, small-group, and inclusion-based instruction aligned with IEP goals.
Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and support student access.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Assess and track student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social growth.
Support students in developing critical thinking, independence, and self-advocacy skills.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including MET and Child Find processes.
Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators regarding student progress.
Supervise and support paraprofessionals as assigned.
Participate in curriculum development, professional development, and school initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification. Appropriate Arizona Department of Education endorsement for the area of disability. Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and inclusion practices. Strong instructional, behavioral, and classroom management skills. Ability to use technology, assessment tools, and data to guide instruction. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Bonus Skills:
Experience in inclusive or co-teaching environments. Familiarity with Arizona Professional Teacher Standards. Experience supervising paraprofessionals or support staff. Strong background in differentiated instruction and behavior supports. Why is This aGreat Opportunity :
