Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher supporting learners in a vibrant school community. This contract opportunity is for two full-time, in-person special education professionals committed to fostering growth, inclusivity, and achievement for students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create adaptive learning environments, implement IEPs, and advocate for student success. The assignments are set to begin August 28, 2026, and continue through June 18, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Specific caseloads will be tailored after initial internal discussions and finalized through the interview process, ensuring the best fit for both your skills and our students' needs.
What You'll Bring:
Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher, meeting all current state requirements Experience providing individualized and group instruction to students with varying abilities (prior school experience strongly preferred) Proficiency in developing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Dedication to working exclusively on-site; remote/virtual is not an option Collaborative mindset and adaptability when working with families, school staff, and support networks
