Desired Qualifications:
A valid CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement (proof of application required if pending; substitute, temporary, or interim licenses are not accepted) License should specify: Professional Teacher License #000000; Endorsed in Special Education Generalist (5-21) Prior experience in a school-based Special Education setting Deep understanding of the IEP process and legal compliance Demonstrated expertise in developing, leading, and implementing specially designed instruction and differentiated instructional strategies Ability to support students on alternative academic standards Candidates must be able to work fully on-site; this is not a virtual or hybrid roleKey Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and implement effective IEPs to support diverse student learning needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary IEP teams, including families, therapists, and general educators, to ensure comprehensive student support Design and deliver engaging special education lessons aligned with alternative and general education standards Use a variety of assessments and instructional strategies tailored to student strengths and areas for growth Maintain detailed records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with all federal and state regulations A highly rewarding teaching experience awaits, offering the chance to foster growth, independence, and confidence in your students.
