Job Description
About us We are an in-home homeschooling company. We send learning guides directly into each family's home to provide personalized, one-on-one instruction within Florida's home education program. We believe every child learns differently, and our job is to adapt to the child — not the other way around. The role We're looking for a teacher / learning guide to work in families' homes and guide children's day-to-day learning. You'll work directly with one or more students, following a personalized plan and keeping the family updated on progress. Responsibilities Provide personalized one-on-one (or small-group) instruction in the family's home. Adapt lessons and materials to each child's pace, interests, and learning style. Support the portfolio and progress required under Florida's home education program. Maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents about progress and needs. Requirements Experience teaching, tutoring, or working with children (school, homeschool, private tutoring, or similar). Patience, warmth, and the ability to connect with children of different ages. Reliable, punctual, and with your own transportation to reach homes. Willing to complete a background check — required. Preferred Bachelor's degree (education, child development, special education, or related field). Florida teaching certificate. Experience with children with unique abilities / special needs (neurodivergence, autism, ADHD, learning differences, etc.). Experience with homeschooling or micro-schools. Bilingual English/Spanish.
