Job Description
Category Schools - Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist Job Type Contract A virtual position is available for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, providing support for students in Wisconsin. This role requires a professional committed to fostering the educational development of deaf and hard of hearing students through specialized instruction and collaborative services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) specifically designed for virtual learning environments. Provide direct and consultative instructional services aligned with student IEPs. Collect and maintain accurate documentation of student progress toward IEP goals. Participate actively in virtual IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) regulations.Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher within Wisconsin schools. Strong understanding of Wisconsin's educational processes and legal requirements. Ability to deliver effective instruction and support in a virtual setting. Skilled in collaborating with families, educators, and service providers to support student achievement.Location:
This is a virtual position serving students in the state of Wisconsin.Schedule:
