Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain). Prior experience working in a Special Education setting. Solid grasp of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring. Knowledge of state and federal Special Education laws and compliance standards. Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and compassion for students with unique learning needs. Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
What You'll Do:
Design, adapt, and implement instruction to meet each student's IEP goals. Assess student abilities and progress, modifying approaches as needed. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom climate. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including classroom teachers and related service providers. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians on student progress and support plans. Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility reviews, and ongoing professional learning.
