We are looking for a self-starter who is excellent with communication and documentation.

TVIs are expected to:

Be self-starters Work with students with a wide variety of needs, including sensory needs Maximize student independence Work as part of a team Understand the IEP process Maintain appropriate records and data Have excellent interpersonal skills Individualize instruction for the needs of each student Work with students with a wide variety of needs Know UEB and Nemeth Code Cover all areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum Work as a partner with parents, staff, and coworkers

Complete Functional Vision and Learning Media Assessments Qualifications:

California Credential as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Will consider applicants with the ability to transfer TVI credentials from out of state TVI Interns are welcome and will be hired on the intern salary schedule

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
