Travel Special Ed Teacher

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Travel A full-time opportunity is available for a Certified Elementary Cognitively Impaired (CI) Special Education Teacher serving students in grades K-2. This onsite position is located in Redford, MI, and runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students with cognitive impairments in an elementary school setting Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching license with CI or ASD endorsement Current or willingness to obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification and maintain it annually Experience working with young learners (grades K-2) in a special education setting preferred Commitment to being onsite with the assigned caseload
