This contract position is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about providing individualized instruction tailored to a student's unique needs. Engage in one-on-one sessions, allowing you to truly focus on student growth and development in a setting where your expertise will make a direct and visible difference.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience providing special education services, preferably in a homebound or individualized learning environment Strong knowledge of specialized instructional strategies for diverse learners Ability to build rapport and foster a positive, supportive learning atmosphere Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to confidentiality and student privacy
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver customized instruction to a homebound student based on the IEP and academic goals Conduct three 1-hour teaching sessions per week during the 2026-2027 school year Assess student progress and modify lessons as needed to meet learning targets Facilitate engaging lessons that encourage participation and learning Collaborate with families and related service providers to ensure a coordinated educational approach Maintain accurate records of instructional activities and student performance Become a valued educator making an immediate difference for a student who will benefit greatly from your guidance and encouragement.
