Special Ed Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with general education teachers to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Deliver instruction that meets the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with disabilities. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to maximize learning. Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth. Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and support staff regarding student development and needs.

Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with middle school-aged children in an inclusive setting. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Ability to differentiate instruction and manage diverse learning styles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
