Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-specific preferred) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Successful experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Strong classroom management and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to each student's unique needs Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work collaboratively with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families Track student progress, complete evaluations, and maintain accurate records in compliance with all regulations Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture that celebrates each learner's strengths Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions This full-time contract role offers you the chance to work closely with students, contributing to a team that values creativity, adaptability, and professional growth.
