Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education License. Candidates with emergency or pending certifications will be considered, including those enrolled in Teachers of America or ITeach programs. Experience working with elementary or PreK special education students is highly valued. Ability to foster a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment. Collaborative mindset and eagerness to work effectively with paraeducators and other instructional staff. Primary Responsibilities:

Implement and adapt special education curriculum for students in a self-contained classroom. Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs. Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, families, and support staff to support student growth. Track and communicate student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
