Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis. This opportunity focuses on working within dedicated school environments, providing specialized instruction and guidance for students with diverse learning needs. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with staff and help foster a supportive atmosphere that enables every student to thrive.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with children or adolescents who have diverse abilities Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting varied learning styles and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to each student's educational plans Develop, review, and update IEPs in partnership with a multidisciplinary team Maintain detailed progress records and monitor student achievement toward goals Collaborate with general education staff to ensure students are fully supported Participate actively in meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment Perks of the
