Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite Elementary Resource position in St. George, SC for the 2026-27 school year. In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs by delivering targeted instruction, collaborating with general education teachers, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs). We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite Elementary Resource position in the St. George, SC area for the 2026-27 school year. In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs by delivering targeted instruction, collaborating with general education teachers, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs). Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to each student's IEP goals, using evidence-based strategies to support academic growth in core subjects. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to adapt curriculum, monitor progress, and ensure effective inclusion. Develop, implement, and maintain IEP documentation, including progress reports, data collection, and compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that fosters positive behavior, builds independence, and meets diverse social-emotional and learning needs.
Experience:
Previous experience in schools preferred.
