Job Description

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Simpsonville, South Carolina, teaching students with moderate intellectual disabilities. The role offers up to $50 per hour for 5 hours a week and focuses on delivering specialized instruction, monitoring progress, and ensuring IEP compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction based on provided lesson plans Conduct regular progress monitoring to track student growth Maintain consistent communication with the school-based Case Manager to ensure IEP compliance Provide in-home instructional services in the Five Forks/Greenville area between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, Monday-Thursday Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student needs and educational goals
Qualifications:
South Carolina Teaching Certification in Special Education (Multi-Categorical) Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with Moderate Intellectual Disabilities Reliable transportation to the Five Forks/Monarch area Strong communication, adaptability, and reliability skills Background check required
