Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a full-time capacity in Sumter, SC. This position involves working with self-contained or resource caseloads, delivering individualized educational programs, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching credentials. Experience managing K-12 caseloads, either self-contained or resource settings. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs. Deliver specialized instruction and support in both self-contained and resource classrooms. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement. Maintain accurate records, participate in team meetings, and report student progress.
