Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a full-time capacity in Sumter, SC. This position involves working with self-contained or resource caseloads, delivering individualized educational programs, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching credentials. Experience managing K-12 caseloads, either self-contained or resource settings. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs. Deliver specialized instruction and support in both self-contained and resource classrooms. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement. Maintain accurate records, participate in team meetings, and report student progress. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student development.
