Job Description

The Sales & Leasing Agent is responsible for all aspects of the home sales and leasing process, from showing available homes and explaining lease terms to guiding residents through move-in and move-out procedures. This role combines sales, customer service, and light administrative work, and is perfect for someone who is friendly, organized, and enjoys working in a people-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Sales & Leasing Greet prospective residents, provide property tours, and showcase available homes. Explain lease terms, community rules, and home purchase options in a clear and professional manner. Prepare and process all leasing and sales documents accurately and in compliance with company policies. Follow up with leads, answer inquiries, and maintain regular communication with potential tenants. Help new tenants and residents through the move-in process, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Marketing & Community Engagement Advertise available homes through online listings, social media, signage, and local outreach. Keep home listings current with accurate descriptions, pricing, and photos. Assist with community events, open houses, and resident engagement activities. Maintain strong relationships with residents to encourage referrals and renewals. Administrative & Reporting Maintain accurate records of sales, leases, applications, and deposits. Track leads, follow-ups, and occupancy reports. Work closely with the Sales Agent, Sales Manager and Maintenance team to coordinate home readiness for showings and move-ins. Ensure all leasing and sales activities comply with fair housing laws and community policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or sales training preferred. 1-3 years of experience in sales, leasing, or customer service (property management experience a plus). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with paperwork and computer systems. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Familiarity with fair housing regulations. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and basic property management software. Work Environment This position involves both office and on-site work meeting with residents, showing homes, and assisting with move-ins. The Sales & Leasing Agent is often the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in creating a positive, welcoming impression of our community.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
