Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Special Education Teacher Demonstrated expertise working with students with varying disabilities and needs Strong knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to individualize lesson plans Skilled in managing classroom behavior and utilizing positive disciplinary strategies Excellent collaboration skills for working with parents, general education staff, and support personnel Adept at tracking student progress and maintaining detailed documentation
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective, individualized instructional plans for students with special needs Adapt lessons to accommodate different learning styles and capabilities Assess and document student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student development plans Establish a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs Collaborate with colleagues to create supportive, inclusive experiences school-wide You'll enjoy the opportunity to earn $85 per hour in a role that is both rewarding and vital to the school community.
