Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a lasting impact as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. This role is situated within a dynamic educational environment, supporting early learners enrolled in both 3K and 4K programs. As an onsite professional, you'll play a vital part in shaping students' academic and social growth. Your commitment will span the full school year, working a consistent 37.5 hours per week. Active engagement with students, families, and fellow educators is crucial to create a nurturing, adapted learning environment that empowers every child.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current South Carolina Special Education (SPED) teaching license with all necessary endorsements/certifications Experience in early childhood special education, particularly with 3K and 4K students, preferred Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to engage constructively with parents and staff Passion for differentiated instruction and inclusive educational practices Dedication to promoting positive student outcomes and fostering developmental milestones Responsibilities in this
Role:
Deliver tailored instruction to meet the individual learning goals of young children in SPED programs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in cooperation with families and interdisciplinary teams Use adaptive strategies and resources to address diverse learning needs Engage creatively to ensure inclusive classroom experiences Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to ongoing assessments Collaborate actively with school teams to build a supportive, high-achieving environment
