Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Shape young lives and make a meaningful difference in education as a contract Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This opportunity involves supporting K-12 students, working collaboratively within a nurturing school environment. Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Active South Carolina Department of Education teaching license in a recognized special education area (such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities) Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Effective communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging instructional plans tailored to individual student needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and family members Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to maximize student growth and independence Create a classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and emotional well-being Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance deadlines and reporting requirements Stay current with special education regulations and best practices
Details of Engagement:
