Responsibilities Plan and deliver individualized and small-group instruction for students with disabilities in K-12 settings. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families. Collect and analyze student data to adjust instruction and document progress. Implement behavior supports and classroom management strategies that promote inclusion and safety. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based team meetings. Adapt curriculum and materials using accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology. Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation. Support transition planning and functional skills as appropriate to student needs. Engage in ongoing professional development and follow district and legal guidelines for special education.
