Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Special Education certification is required Experience supporting elementary-aged children, ideally in grades 2-4 Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication skills for collaboration with parents, staff, and support personnel Ability to create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom culture Commitment to differentiated instruction and adaptive learning strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored instruction based on student IEP goals Collaborate closely with the classroom paraprofessional to optimize support Track and assess student progress, adjusting approaches as needed Communicate regularly with families and the multidisciplinary team Encourage inclusive practices and foster a sense of belonging for every student Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local and federal guidelines
