Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Travel Embark on an enriching travel assignment as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) in the dynamic Chattanooga, TN region. For those with a passion for technology, there's an opportunity to leverage assistive technology and potentially work virtually—candidates with a minimum of five years of virtual TVI experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
Active Department of Education certification required Experience teaching students with visual impairments, K-12+ Familiarity with Braille and assistive technology (Federal Quota program knowledge a plus) Competence in participating in IEPs, especially using the TN Pulse platform Fingerprinting and timely credentialing will be needed Minimum of five years' experience for virtual rolesPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction to visually impaired students in both general and special education settings Manage an itinerant caseload, traveling between assigned schools Support the integration of assistive technologies and Chromebooks Collaborate closely with school teams on student progress and participate in IEP meetingsBenefits:
