Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive STEM curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs. Deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and related fields using innovative instructional strategies. Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate IT-integrated lessons. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment adaptable to various learning styles. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and interdisciplinary projects to enrich student engagement. Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds through differentiated instruction and personalized mentoring. Prepare students for standardized testing by designing practice assessments and review sessions. Engage in ongoing professional development related to scientific research, instructional design, and classroom management techniques. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and compliance with educational regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Mathematics or related field; higher education teaching experience preferred. Proven classroom teaching experience at middle or high school levels with teenagers. Strong knowledge of STEM subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, differential equations, discrete math, and laboratory sciences. Experience with curriculum development and implementation of science standards across grade levels. Proficiency in integrating learning technology and educational software into lessons. Laboratory experience including dissection techniques and research laboratory practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt instruction for different learning styles and cultural backgrounds. Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with behavior management expertise. Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators while mentoring students effectively. Familiarity with educational compliance requirements and standardized testing procedures. Experience working with special education needs or Montessori methodologies is a plus.
