Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking 2 passionate and dedicated Teachers to inspire and nurture young minds in a dynamic educational environment. As a vital member of our team, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the holistic development of children across various age groups. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate a love for learning while ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through innovative teaching strategies and compassionate guidance. We are a faiith based preschool Academy for ages Infants to Private Kindergarten. We are a uniformed Academy and we are hiring for: 1 is a part time position (6.45a-1:45p) 1 is a full time position (8.30a-5.40p) The days are based on Monday- Friday and can be extended based on the needs of the school We require a experienced teacher only, 2+ years starting at $12, $11 for teachers with less than 2 years experience. We offer a 1:11 max ratio and this position requires exceptional classroom management, team work, creativity, arts and crafts, able to educate multiple ages and development and love teaching children. •being flexible with your hours are required• Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curricula tailored to diverse learning styles, including literacy, math, physical education, and early childhood development. Design engaging lesson plans that promote active participation and foster curiosity among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Support children's social-emotional growth through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention support. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with specific learning requirements. Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and developmental milestones. Incorporate Montessori or other educational philosophies into daily activities when applicable. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, classroom management, childcare practices, and curriculum updates. Facilitate extracurricular activities such as tutoring sessions or physical education classes to enrich the educational experience. Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and promote child welfare at all times. Skills Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and teaching across early childhood or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Expertise in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, and physical education. Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques. Experience working with children in daycare or private school environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and specialists. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners including toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Proficiency in using standardized testing tools for assessment purposes. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other progressive educational approaches is a plus. Demonstrated ability to create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and respect. Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records of student progress and developmental milestones.
