Special Education Teacher | Part-Time (Path to Full-Time Lead Teacher) | Austin, TX | Small Class Ratios | Competitive Pay About Us We're a microschool in Austin built around one idea: education should genuinely fit the student, not the other way around. We create a space where kids feel safe enough to take the next step in their learning — at their own pace, on their own terms. The Opportunity We're looking for a passionate teacher who believes real learning happens through individual attention, not a one-size-fits-all classroom, and who wants to work specifically alongside students with disabilities. If you've felt boxed in by large class sizes and limited resources in traditional settings, this role is built to feel different. You'll work closely with a small team (under 5 staff) in a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 4:1, with a support aide, serving primarily 5th-12th grade students. This position starts part-time, with a real path to a full-time Lead Teacher role for the right person — that's genuinely what we're hoping to find.
