With a commitment to best practices and evidence-based services, our mission is to provide a nurturing and therapeutic home for abused children to receive treatment before returning them to a family setting. We are currently looking for trustworthy individuals to fill our Therapeutic Childcare Specialist role at our 24-hour licensed residential facility. We require an initial 2.5-week paid orientation training program, with our next hire classes starting June 8, 2026.
  • Who you are: Emotionally Resilient. Dependable. Patient. Empathetic. Although not required, many of our Therapeutic Childcare Specialists have backgrounds in psychology, social work, child development, or related fields.
  • What you'll do: Build nurturing relationships with the children using the Trust-Based Relationship Intervention model (TBRI).
Assist children with day-to-day needs including implementing schedules, supervising activities, administering medications, and teaching/coaching the children on a variety of life skills. Complete regular documentation and reports accurately and on-time (e.g., medical monitoring, progress notes, etc.)

  • Required Qualifications:
    At least 21 years old. Physically able to use authorized crisis intervention techniques. Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Flexibility with hours; ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights as needed.
  • For those wishing to work part-time, we require you to work a minimum of 106 hours a month (average of 26.
5 hours/week). This requirement is based on the Attachment Theory that we adhere to.
