Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state or national level) Familiarity with a range of disabilities and learning differences Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong classroom management and communication abilities Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Flexibility to adapt instructional methods to best meet student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver customized instruction based on IEP goals and objectives Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent progress for students Monitor student development, assess progress, and adjust strategies as necessary Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide emotional and behavioral support as needed within the classroom Utilize a variety of resources and technology to support student learning
