Job Description
Available assignments include:
One position with a behavioral caseload of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders (5 students; not fully self-contained)—ideal for experienced special education professionals comfortable addressing challenging behaviors. One position with a life skills caseload of K-2nd graders (4 students)—requires hands-on experience supporting young learners with diverse needs. Additionally, candidates with flexibility to take on both behavioral and life skills roles may transition into a high school life skills assignment (serving 5 students) beginning in November, potentially extending through the end of the school year.Qualifications:
Active Special Education teaching credentials Previous experience with behavioral and/or life skills caseloads Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies and engage effectively with students with varying needs Commitment to nurturing student progress in academic and functional areasResponsibilities:
