In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development will inspire young learners and support their emotional, social, and cognitive growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students while fostering their curiosity and love for learning from the very beginning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning tailored specifically for infants. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while ensuring safety at all times. Engage with children through play-based activities that support their developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language acquisition, and sensory exploration. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure comfort and well-being of each child. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, health information, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards and best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles with experience working directly with infants in daycare or preschool settings. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Ability to manage classroom dynamics with effective classroom management strategies tailored for toddlers. Experience in special education or working with children requiring additional support is a plus.
