Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Empower students and enhance educational outcomes in this full-time contract role as an Educational Diagnostician supporting 1-2 schools in the Tyler and nearby areas. In this on-site position, you'll contribute your expertise to help identify and address student learning needs, ensuring appropriate and effective support services are in place for the coming academic year. What you'll bring: Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Experience conducting assessments and developing intervention plans for K-12 students Strong understanding of special education evaluation procedures and eligibility criteria Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Organizational abilities to manage scheduling and documentation across multiple campuses Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed evaluation reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop recommendations for supports and services Assist teachers and staff in understanding students' needs and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and timelines Serve as a resource to school teams, offering guidance on instructional modifications and behavioral interventions Enjoy the opportunity to make a measurable difference in students' educational journeys while working alongside dedicated professionals.
