These opportunities are available in a variety of specialized instructional settings, including behavior support classrooms, inclusion, resource, fundamentals, early childhood special education, and functional life skills programs. Current Assignment Needs:
Elementary, Middle and High School Multi-categorical, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbances, and behavioral Mild to Moderate and Moderate to Severe classrooms Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Develop and implement lesson plans that meet students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Implement accommodations and modifications to support student success. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavior management strategies. Qualifications Special Education Certification Required for All Positions Special Education + CORE Content Certification required for appropriate positions Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs preferred Knowledge of IEP development and special education compliance requirements. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Experience in inclusion, resource, behavior support, life skills, or self-contained classroom settings.
Contract Details:
$42.00 - $45.00 per hour | Full-time opportunities available
