In this role, you will serve as a versatile educator, stepping into various classroom settings to support teachers and enrich the learning experiences of young children. Your energetic approach and flexible mindset will help foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a meaningful impact on children's development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum development standards and early childhood education best practices. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all children. Work closely with children across different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early learners, to promote literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional growth. Contribute to classroom activities that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning outcomes. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports child welfare and daycare safety protocols. Collaborate with staff on individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, behavior management techniques, and standardized testing preparation when applicable. Requirements Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies, and early intervention techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring activities. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Experience with classroom experience involving literacy education, math instruction, or Montessori methods is preferred. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments as a floater teacher while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm. •
