Exciting contract opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers ready to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment near Crandall, TX! We are seeking motivated professionals to fill three openings, with positions available for MS Life Skills and MS Resource Math. Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Certification required
For MS Life Skills:
SPED certification and core subject certification required
For MS Resource Math:
SPED certification and math or generalist certification required Strong commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational setting Prior experience working in middle school special education strongly preferred Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in Life Skills or Resource Math settings Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals to ensure student success Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals Maintain compliance with all IEP documentation and reporting requirements Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to support student growth
