Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Step into a role where your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician makes a lasting impact in a vibrant school environment. This contract opportunity offers multiple unique positions, each tailored to a variety of skills and interests within educational diagnostics. Whether your focus is working directly on campus, conducting comprehensive district-wide evaluations, or providing specialized assessments for early childhood intervention, there's a place for your talents.

Open positions include:

Four Campus Diagnostician roles (two in elementary, two in middle school settings), focusing on student testing, in-depth observations, participation in ARD meetings, and consulting with multidisciplinary teams. Two Evaluation-Only Diagnostician roles, based out of the Special Education building, traveling to schools district-wide to provide assessments for all grade levels. One Play-Based Assessment Diagnostician, working with a collaborative team assessing ECI students (ages 2-3), combining on-site testing and report writing throughout the week.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Endorsement (verification required). Proven background in administering psychoeducational assessments, interpreting results, and collaborating with teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting diverse learners. Comfortable with both individual and team-based assessment models.

Primary responsibilities include:

Conducting formal student evaluations and observations. Preparing detailed assessment reports in a timely manner. Participating actively in ARD committee meetings and interdisciplinary consultations. Traveling as needed for district-wide assessment assignments. Experience a supportive work schedule of 40 hours per week, surrounded by dedicated professionals who value teamwork and student growth.
