Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as an Educational Diagnostician on a full-time contract basis. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to assess, support, and guide high school students, collaborating with educators and families to ensure each learner's needs are understood and met.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician Previous experience assessing and supporting high school students In-depth knowledge of
IDEA, FIE, IEP
development, and student evaluation procedures Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Familiarity with special education law and compliance standards
What You'll Do:
Conduct formal assessments and re-evaluations for students suspected of or receiving special education services Collect and interpret data from a variety of sources for comprehensive student evaluations Develop integrated Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) reports Guide IEP teams in determining eligibility and making informed educational recommendations Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents regarding assessment results and intervention strategies Maintain accurate records in compliance with all legal and district requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design appropriate support plans for students This is an outstanding opportunity to become an integral support for high school students, helping unlock their potential and shaping their educational experience.
