Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Spine Care Specialist to join our growing medical device team serving patients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding regions. This position focuses on fitting spinal orthoses (back braces, cervical collars, and related products) and bone growth stimulators for post-operative and non-operative spine patients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, traveling extensively throughout North Texas, and interacting professionally with patients, physicians, hospital staff, and clinic personnel. This is a full-time 1099 independent contractor position with significant autonomy and growth opportunities. Responsibilities Fit and adjust spinal orthoses including LSO, TLSO, and cervical braces Deliver and educate patients on prescribed bone growth stimulators Provide thorough patient instruction regarding device use and compliance Travel to hospitals, surgery centers, physician offices, rehabilitation facilities, and patient homes Complete required documentation accurately and promptly Obtain photographs, signatures, and supporting documentation when required Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Communicate effectively with surgeons, clinic staff, case managers, and patients Manage daily schedule and coordinate appointments independently Participate in rotating weekend and after-hours coverage Assist with inventory management and device tracking as needed Requirements Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license Willingness to drive extensively throughout the DFW region and surrounding territories Ability to travel up to two hours from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex when needed Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable with technology, mobile documentation, and electronic forms Ability to lift and transport medical equipment weighing up to 40 pounds Understanding of HIPAA requirements and patient privacy standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical devices, DME, orthotics, physical therapy, athletic training, EMT, nursing assistant, medical assistant, or related field Experience with spinal bracing or orthopedic products Experience interacting directly with patients in clinical or home settings Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Work Schedule Full-time contractor role Non-traditional schedule Early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends required Rotating on-call coverage Schedule varies based on patient needs, surgery schedules, and physician requests Compensation Competitive contractor compensation Performance and volume-based earning opportunities Significant autonomy and schedule flexibility Opportunity for growth within an expanding spine-focused medical device organization About Us We specialize in providing advanced spine care solutions including spinal bracing and bone growth stimulation technologies.
