The teacher is responsible for the supervising children, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaing a clean and organinzed classroom, and communicating effectively with families and staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide constant and attentive supervision of children to ensure their safety and well-bein. Create a warm, nurturing, and positive classroom enviroment. Follow the center's daily schedule, curriculum, policies, and procedures. Plan and provide age-appropriate learning activities based on children's developmental needs and interests. Support children's social, emotional, physical,cognitive, and language development. Engage children in activities such as art, music, reading, sensory play, dramatic play, outdoor activities, and educational games. Assist children with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, handwashing, nap time, and other daily routines as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom throughout the day. Property sanitize toys, equipment, tables, and classroom areas according to center procedures. Complete required daily report, lesson plans, attendance records, incident reports, and developmental documentation. Maintain professional and respectful communicati on with parents and guardians. Share appropriate daily information with families regarding their child's activities overall day. Work cooperatively with other teachers, supervisors and center management. Assist with opening, closing, classroom transitions, and other duties assigned.
