Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification for Texas Previous experience working with K-12 students with exceptionalities Familiarity with resource/inclusion, self-contained, and structured/life skills classrooms preferred Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated instruction within assigned classroom setting Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to meet individualized learning needs Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers Foster a positive, supportive, and structured environment for all learners
