Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' educational journeys as a skilled Educational Diagnostician. This full-time, on-site contract position is focused on providing exceptional evaluation and assessment services near Lindale and in the Tyler, TX area. Educational diagnosticians with experience in schools are invited to bring their expertise to support 1-2 campuses, helping shape individualized student plans and empowering educators with critical insights.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or related field Valid Educational Diagnostician certification for the state of Texas Previous experience conducting educational assessments and working with multidisciplinary teams Knowledgeable in eligibility determination for special education services Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage and prioritize assessment caseloads for multiple campuses Familiarity with state and federal guidelines for special education
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for students referred for services Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results Develop written evaluation reports and participate in ARD/IEP meetings Help design and implement academic and behavioral interventions Remain current on legal updates, assessment tools, and compliance standards Travel between and support 1-2 school campuses as assigned
