Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Aftercare Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children after school hours or during designated care periods. Your primary goal is to support children's development through structured activities such as home work,supervision, and positive guidance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while fostering their social, emotional, and educational growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, possesses excellent classroom management skills, and demonstrates a strong commitment to child safety and well-being. Responsibilities Supervise children during afterschool programs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts, crafts, sports, and educational games Maintain a structured environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies Monitor children's behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and implement behavior management protocols as needed Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to communicate children's progress and address any concerns Support the implementation of youth development programs that foster social skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities Skills Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order in active environments Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, and emergency response protocols Background in special education or childhood development is highly desirable Excellent child supervision abilities combined with patience and positive discipline techniques Experience facilitating youth group activities or outdoor work experience preferred Ability to lead team efforts effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities in a dynamic setting Join us as an Aftercare Teacher and be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds!
